Simon Heller, CEO
As the CEO of Orion, Simon’s ethos is centred on the Latin phrase ‘Nil Sine Labore’ translated as ‘Nothing without labour’.
Simon founded Orion in 1998 originally specialising in commercial and domestic heating and began trading in 1999. Due to client demand and an excellent reputation Orion expanded its services to include air conditioning, plumbing, electrical and legionella control. As a result of the expansion, Orion’s name changed from ‘Orion Heating Services’ to ‘Orion Building Engineering Services’ in 2012.
Prior to Orion, Simon completed his apprenticeship with Eastern Gas, now British Gas. After qualifying he remained with Eastern Gas for 4 years. He then worked for several other companies and gained experience working on different plant, including a London based company Planned Maintenance Engineering Ltd predominantly specialising in commercial heating. He was a combustion engineer and worked for them for 12 years.
